Information – planned construction work at Bankstrasse
Dear Patients,
Due to planned construction work in the Bankstrasse and Rathausstrasse area, there will be construction-related disruptions starting in March 2026.
During the first construction phase from 03/03 until the end of March you can reach the practice via Storchenstrasse. The number of parking spaces directly in front of the practice is limited to three and is reserved for patients who depend on a wheelchair and/or walker or who have limited mobility for other reasons. Additional parking spaces are available in front of the former fire station depot on Bankstrasse. The parking spaces at Marktplatz, Frauenfelderstrasse, and Rathausstrasse will remain available as usual. The practice can also be easily reached on foot from Marktplatz during the construction period.
You can always find the latest information at: Construction Notices City of Weinfelden as well as the Site Plan. To avoid delays in our consultation hours, we kindly ask you to allow extra time for your journey to the practice.

Photographs, Video Recordings, and Audio Recordings
Dear Patients,
The taking of photographs, videos, and audio recordings is prohibited throughout our practice premises. Violations will be subject to sanctions.
Billing for Gynecological Check-ups
Dear Patients
Due to repeated inquiries, we would like to inform you about the billing modalities of gynecological check-ups. The check-up includes blood pressure measurement, urine testing, possibly a blood test, palpation of the lower abdomen and breasts, as well as a cancer screening smear (cervical smear). The check-up is covered by the basic insurance (taking into account your chosen deductible and co-payment) every three years, provided there are no gynecological complaints. As soon as we dispense medication (except contraceptives), perform additional blood tests, provide contraceptive counseling, or discuss complaints, the examination can no longer be billed as a check-up and falls under "illness." Depending on your supplementary insurance, you may be entitled to preventive services (same criteria) outside the three-year interval. Please clarify this with your respective insurance provider. If you have any questions, we will be happy to assist you.
New data protection law
The new Data Protection Act came into force on 01.09.2023. We ask all existing and new patients to take note of the new information on this (see patient questionnaire).
INVOICE COPY
Since January 1, 2022, all patients automatically receive an electronic copy of the invoice from Medidata. This is just a copy of an invoice that is sent in the original to your insurance company. You do not need to pay the copy and receive it purely for informational purposes.

- Frauenpraxis Weinfelden has two of the most modern ultrasound machines, which enables realistic 3D/4D imaging. We are very happy to provide you with selected ultrasound photos free of charge as part of our normal pregnancy care.
